Laubach Literacy of Ventura County has been chosen as a ProLiteracy Literacy Opportunity Fund award winner! This $1,000 award provides much needed general operating funds to cover our operating expenses, expand programming, host events and purchase materials. We are proud to say that Laubach Literacy was among 30 recipients across the US selected to share in $148,000 in funding supported by the Nora Roberts Foundation. We are most grateful for the support we receive from ProLiteracy.
We are honored and grateful to be the recipient of a $2,000 grant from Meadowlark Service League of Camarillo. Meadowlark has a long history of making significant contributions to our communities. Members devote time, money and resources to making a difference by supporting many local charities. With their generous support, we are able fulfill our mission of helping individuals learn and improve their English skills.

We are honored to announce that Laubach Literacy was named as one of the 2026 ProLiteracy National Book Fund grant recipients! We were chosen as part of this impressive group for our dedication to providing adults in Ventura County with free one-on-one and small group English tutoring. This grant will allow us to better serve our current 50+ learners as well to multiply our impact with increased numbers of learners. Our community is stronger when every adult has the chance to reach their full potential. Thank you ProLiteracy for your support!
